Think about the last lesson we did in class.  Pick a topic, or concept, ad write a paragraph about it.  Address the following points: was it easy to understand, and why, what made it easy or hard, and how will you know that you mastered this concept?

  1. I learn about how to factor a polynomial. It is not that hard, but we just need to look for the common factor. I can master this lesson by doing more practice on it.

  2. I'm going to write about Using Properties of Exponents. That lesson was pretty easy for me, since I already knew some of it. When i got stuck on a problem, I just went back to my notes and looked at the formulas. That helped me out a lot. I will know that I mastered this concept when I don't have to look back at my notes as much.

  3. the lesson we did yesterday it was difficult becuase it has too many steps to do it. However we should practice more on the last lesson and spend more time on this.

  5. I think the last lesson was no too dificult,if you put attention in class you will understand better the lesson, when you don't know how to solve a problem go to your notes, and that is easier to solve!

  6. (This is Vanessa, I dont know how to change the stupid name thingy)
I would also have to agree that factoring polynomials was a very quick and easy concept to learn. I enjoyed having to find a number to that would multiply and add into the first and middle number. It was almost like a game. It's a simply matter of following steps and remembering basic math. The polynomial section was definitely a good one for me.

  7. I learn about how to to factor a polynomial that for me wasn't that like Ms.G said because it my first time. But now i know that i have look for like terms or common factors. Also, how to use x-intercepts to graph using a polynomial.

  8. im going to talk about properties of exponents.. This lesson was a litle bit hard..What helped me out a lot to understand it better was going back to my notes.. and do some work on the book.. I think we should spend more time working on this..

  10. I learn over the solve one-step equations using subtraction, addition, division, multiplication and multiplying by a reciprocal. For me is little hard because I remember somethings in the last year.

  14. The last lesson we did in class was equations. I think the easiest way to understand is to pay attention since the beginning of each class. Every time that we miss a lesson is difficult to understand. wWhat is helpful is to review the notes.

  16. the lesson was a little difficult for me to process and learn, but I figured it out in the end. I think what makes it hard for students is that we're a little hesitant to ask questions, and that's something I have to work on myself as well. But, overall it was a very interesting lesson.

  17. The lesson we learned yesterday was about similar polygons. If corresponding angles are congruent and corresponding side lengths are proportional, then two polygons are similar. We learned how to write a similarity statement and statements of proportionality.I found this lesson to be extremely easy because of what we have already learned about proportions and corresponding sides/angles. I will know I have mastered this concept by doing well on the quiz/test. I think the lesson was fairly straight forward and I shouldn't have a problem remembering it.

  18. This reply is for Geometry since I take two classes with you :/

I like what we have been doing in Geometry lately. The whole thing about proportions, ratios, and finding similar polygons. It's really fun and easy. I haven't had any trouble with those concepts, that's how easy it is.

If I do have any trouble with those concepts, I'll make sure to ask you or Sarah for help.
